I leave dedicated toons in Act 2 and Act 3 to gather the quest items. Once you complete the quest, you can no longer gather those items. The character that makes the staff/flail is the only one that you can complete the quest with it. ![]() DO NOT make the Horadric Staff and Flail before putting them in the stash. You now have an easy, "legit" socket quest In Act 5 just go kill Shenk and you're done with that toon. Run/Teleport through Acts 3 and 4 as fast as possible In Act 3, grab your quest items and cube them to make the flail Talk to Cain, Drognan, Jerhyn enter the palace and finish Act 2 In Act 2, grab the cube, staff, and amulet and make the staff Make a new character to rush (sorc is the fastest) - twink them out with gear to get you through even faster Use this same methodology for Act 3 to gather all the quest items and store them in the shared stash Open Shared stash and drop those items on a pageįind the staff and amulet again - make sure that you are on the personal stash, the game won't respawn the quest items if it detects that you have them in the stash alreadyĭo this as many times as you want (I like gathering them in multiples of 10) On Plugy, I make toons just to twink and rush through Normal to get the socket quest, but it also works to get toons through Act 2 and 3 a lot faster in NM and Hell. This isn't revolutionary, but it might help newer Plugy players who miss GRushes from BNet. ![]()
